Losing a family member, particularly a child or during pregnancy can be shocking and incredibly isolating. Although the statistics for pregnancy loss are one in four, you may not have been in close contact with someone else this has happened to, so when it has happened to you, where do you turn for support and to help you move forward?
Brisbane have excellent support systems and we encourage all of bereaved parents to utilise these services. Both Sands and Rednose are specific for infant and child loss and provide a 24 hour support line 1300 308 307 – this number is for both services.
