We have a special place in our hearts for families who have lost their most precious child.  Our goal is to facilitate your wishes and guide you through this process to make it as gentle and stress-free as possible, so that you, your family and friends can honour and cherish your beautiful child, in your own way.

The prices below are separated into infant <2 years of age, and children which is 2 – 11 years.  Children 12 and over are considered adults.

Please note that infants 20 weeks gestation and over require an independent Doctor to verify they are not a cremation risk (Form 4) which is an additional $70 – this is a QLD law requirement.

An urn is not included in our children’s prices, so feel free to view our range on “Our Products” page.

We specialise in Babies and Children Services.

At Farewell Funerals we specialise in children of all ages, including still born. We ensure all babies and children are cared for with much love, and the care they deserve.

We understand that family time is so important. It is a memory to treasure forever. Therefore we offer parents all the time they need with their previous child in our private, comfortable viewing room where you can be a family without any interfernce.

We have a cuddle cot for families who would like to take their baby home, or we offer intimate in-house services. Baby can be swaddled and cuddled in our white baby cot or coffin. The choice is yours. You can even design your coffin.

At a time like this we accommodate all requests to honour your beautiful, loved child.

Infant

``FAREWELL CREMATION ONLY, NO ATTENDANCE $550``

Our “Cremation only, no attendance” is where there is no service held and a private cremation is arranged by the Funeral Director.  There is an additional fee of $70 for infants 20 weeks and over for an independent Doctor (Form 4).

This service includes the following:

  • Transfer into our care
  • Viewing at our premises
  • Legal documentation
  • Professional services fee
  • Cremation coffin
  • Keepsake urn
  • Return of ashes back to family

``FAREWELL BABY`` CREMATION SERVICE AT MEADOWBROOK FROM $1000 - TWILIGHT FROM $1100

“Farewell Baby” and “Farewell Twilight” cremation services held at our premises in Meadowbrook cater for up to 15 guests and can be held on any weekday between 10am and 3pm, or in the evening on a weekday between 6pm and 8pm.

This service includes the following:

  • Funeral arrangement
  • Transfer into our care
  • Viewing at our premises
  • Legal documentation
  • Professional services fee
  • Cremation coffin
  • 16 Memorial cards
  • Celebrant
  • “Reflection” audio-visual presentation
  • Keepsake urn
  • Return of ashes to family

  • Coffin flower spray – 50cms
  • Upgraded coffin to “Precious Angel”
  • Death certificate & 2 certified copies

``BABY GRAVESIDE BURIAL`` SERVICE FROM $1,500

This service is held graveside at Hemmant Cemetery.  Additional inclusions are;

  • Celebrant
  • Music
  • Cremation coffin
  • 16 memorial cards

Hemmant is the only Council cemetery that has a dedicated infant area with no burial fee, if you wish to hold the service at another venue, there will be additional costs.
